GPU2 open beta

We're (finally) ready to start the QA process outside Stanford & ATI for the next generation GPU client (nicknamed FAH GPU2). We've gone through a limited alpha and a larger closed beta test, and we think the client is now ready for an open beta, i.e. a public release of the software that's still in an early stage. That's not to say that it's flawless, but there don't appear to be any "show stoppers" so far.

We will next put this on our main download page, assuming that this stage of beta testing looks good.

 

 

 

Please keep in mind that this is beta software. The client/core may be unstable (although it looks ok so far), the points benchmarking may change due to software or policy changes, etc. With that in mind, we'd appreciate any comments you may have -- please post them in this forum section. Nous sommes (enfin) préts à démmarrer le processus de controle qualité externe à Stanford et ATI pour le client GPU de prochaine génération (surnommés FAH GPU2). Nous sommes passés par un alpha test, un large beta test et nous pensons que le client est maintenant prets pour un beta test ouvert, c'est à dire une release public du logiciel qui n'est encore qu'a une première étape. Ceci ne veut pas dire que le client est parfait mais il n'est pas apparu aucun bloquage visible pour le moment.

 

 

 

Si vous avez une carte 2xxx ou 3xxx, vous voulez pouvoir tester le nouveau client GPU ? Vous pouvez le télécharger ici:

Par la suite nous mettrons ce lien sur la page de download principale a condition que cette étape de beta test ce déroules bien.

 

 

Merci de garder à l'esprit que ceci est un logiciel en version béta. Le client/core peut étre instable(même si il semble ok pour le moment), les points attribués peuvent changer selon les modifications apportés au logiciel.
